How to Check a Liberia Airport Transportation Provider Before You Book

Before you reserve transportation from Liberia Guanacaste Airport, ask practical questions about the company and your specific booking. A clear answer about authorization, insurance, price, and pickup is more useful than a dramatic claim about every other ride.

Ask about the provider and vehicle

Costa Rica's Consejo de Transporte Público regulates special transport services including tourism transportation. Ask a provider what authorization applies to its service and who operates the vehicle for your trip. You may also request details of the passenger insurance that applies to the vehicle. Requirements can depend on the service and permit, so confirm the particulars rather than assuming every driver has the same status.

Check the booking details

Get the service type, route, date, number of passengers, total price, and destination in writing. Ask which extras are included and whether surfboards, child seats, or additional stops cost more. Confirm the cancellation and no-show terms before paying.

Plan the airport meeting

For our private LIR pickups, a representative meets passengers outside the terminal with the passenger name on a sign. Confirmed shared guests receive separate instructions; our usual shared meeting point is the Restaurant Imperial bench near the main entrance.
